THE STORY OF OKSANA OROBETS
I started doing fitness when I was 13 years old. Ever since childhood I was doing aerobics, gymnastics and dance. And when I have heard about such exciting sport, which also takes place on the stage, I was inspired to participate. I have prepared a voluntary program, sewed a swimsuit and went to compete... And I won this competition unexpectedly for everyone including myself. It was Ukraine Cup. Of course, I realized a bit when I won, but I felt that this is MY sport and I want to compete again. When I was 16 I went to the gym and started to work hard with heavy weights. At the age of 19 I won my first World Championship in fitness, and at the age of 21 I repeated this result. I adore my category - fitness - because I do not only build my body in the gym, but also I increase my skills as a dancer and a gymnast to make my voluntary program more interested and excited.

How do the Nutrend products help you in your sport?
Since I´m doing a specific sport, which combines not only workout in the gym, but also gymnastics, I need a complete recovery not just for my muscles, but also for my joints.

What is your favorite Nutrend product and which one do you use the most?
I have several ones. Flexit Drink helps me to recover my joints and ligaments after exercise, as well as to prevent the occurrence of injuries. Compress BCAA and Compress Iso Whey 90 help with recovery after strength training.

Diet in your sport is without any doubts important to achieve an outstanding performance. What is your common daily diet like?
1st Breakfast: oatmeal + farmer cheese + apple
2nd breakfast: salad + meat + buckwheat
1st lunch: salad + meat + buckwheat
2nd lunch: salad + fish + nuts
1st dinner: farmer cheese + grapefruit

Protein - 2-3 servings a day
Before breakfast - Flexit Drink
After breakfast - vitamins
Before workout - BCAA, amino acids
After workout - BCAA, creatine, glutamine, amino acids

How do you prepare yourself for events? Where and how often do you practice?
Before contest season I usually have 2-3 trainings a day with one day off per week. And during the off season I try to do 5 workouts a week.

What is your common training day like?
I start my day with working on my voluntary program, then I go to the gym and do strength training. And in the evening I do a CrossFit workout.

What is your motivation for hard training?
Of course the main motivation for me is a title and my ambitions to be the best in what I do, but often this is not enough... I enjoy hard and exhausting training - training for training - I just love it! If I have a day off or overtraining and need to have additional day off I feel that the day has passed in vain, and even I worry about less training :)

What was the hardest training in your life?
I don't remember any special one the most complex or heavy, there were too many. The most difficult is to exercise when you have an injury, but you can not miss a workout before the competition and then you should work through the pain.

Can you describe your best event? How did it influence you?
The most memorable and important event was my first World Cup when I won in fitness. At this moment my dream came true - when I stand on the podium with the Ukrainian flag in my hands, the audience stood up and I was listening the anthem of my country. This was what I had dreamed about since my childhood. And another one was my second World Cup victory - confirmation of the title. I was no less significant event in my life. Probably harder than winning the World Cup is to win the World Cup again :)
